Hi there!

I grew up in Lake Cowichan on the traditional territory of Ts’uubaa-asatx Nation. I moved to Victoria where I completed my BSc in Biology and Psychology at UVic in 2023. After my degree, I took a break from university, worked, volunteered, and travelled. I wanted a career that challenged me to grow, learn, adapt, and allowed me to be a part of a larger community. Over the next year I contemplated the career I was best suited for and decided to pursue education. I took the prerequisites I needed and continued gaining experience by volunteering with youth. In 2025 I was accepted into the UVic Elementary PDPP Program and began my teacher training journey in September.

My partner and I live a two minute walk from the ocean where we take frequent nature walks and mindfulness breaks. I love to get outdoors and enjoy walking, hiking, learning about nature, and spending time with my loved ones. I love going back to Lake Cowichan to visit my parents and my younger brother who is 9 years old. My older brother and his partner live in Victoria so we enjoy doing activities such as playing boardgames or making dinners together.
