I began my week worried about what a technology class would look like online. I don’t have a great background in technology so I didn’t know what to expect. I was so worried that I triple checked I could get into the Zoom lecture before class. Once in class, I reflected on how hard technology can make communication. I find it harder to focus on listening while using technology and often wander to other sites on the computer or find my brain wandering beyond the discussion. It’s great that we can connect with anyone online, but it still feels so foreign despite completing many online classes. I guess it felt too meta using technology to talk about technology for my brain. I think I may have to employ AI to take my notes just in case my brain wanders too far during lectures.

Setting up the blog was a bit of a journey for me. Through a lot of trial and error and help from others I finally set up the blog. I am really proud of myself for staying (mostly) on track. I know eventually it will get easier with practice and the site will become simpler the more I explore what I can do on here. I am excited to see how much I can learn from this class. I think it will improve my overall technological literacy and help me gain a better understanding of how to support student learning.
